Pastor – Children & Young Families

Croydon Hills Baptist Church (3–4 days per week) CHBC is seeking a Pastor for Next Gen & Young Families to join our pastoral team and help shape the faith of the next generation and the families who nurture them. This role is ideal for a pastor with a heart for children, families, and discipleship. If you love partnering with parents, empowering volunteers, and creating spaces where faith can grow naturally in homes, community, and church life, this role might be for you! 

You will provide pastoral leadership to our Next Gen Children’s ministries while also offering intentional care, connection, and discipleship support to young families within our church community. This is both a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with volunteers, staff, and families to build a safe, vibrant, and faith-forming environment for children and parents alike. 

We’re Looking For Someone Who: 

  • Is a growing disciple of Jesus with a pastoral heart 
  • Has experience in children’s, youth, or family ministry
  • Values partnership with parents as primary faith-formers 
  • Can lead, equip, and encourage volunteers and leaders 

The successful applicant ideally will bring a minimum of three years’ relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering outcomes, showing initiative and ownership in prior church, educational, or not-for-profit roles.
