Sarah’s Blog Thoughts

As we all congregated under the artificial light of the food trailer, we could dimly see the last of a stunning sunset, fading into the darkness of a chilled night in Coober Pedy We talked for a while about our somewhat frequent “obstacles” we have encountered on our trip so far and decided instead of being scared or worried, we would acknowledge that Gods hand has pried us just enough away from the problems, to shield us from danger yet still make us find a new meaning to Rise Above! So Matt decided to say (rather bravely) rather than worrying about accidentally jinxing it to happen- that we should challenge ourselves and say “Bring it on” because we know we can show our faith and complete devotion to God like that, in our trust even in unsure times.
