Gitta Clayton

Gitta has over 18 years’ experience working in the community as a coordinator of a volunteer program. She is well connected with the migrant and refugee community. She is a core team member of The Hope Project and has travelled to the Thai/Burma border several times.  Gitta attended Syndal Baptist Church where she was involved in playgroups and small groups before
moving to the Croydon Hills area in 2012. She is passionate about seeing lives transformed through sharing hope with people, encouraging people and caring for others. She loves to see the difference volunteers can make. She is a person who connects with others, listens and quietly achieves.
She commenced at CHBC in September 2017 as the CHBC LINKS Community Engagement Coordinator, she will support the Karen community, the social enterprise Eleven41 and several other established programs within CHBC such as The Men’s Shed.  Gitta has three wonderful sons.
